Home Law library United States Omnikit is not a law firm and this is not legal advice. This library shows only a small selection of provisions, mainly those Omnikit's calculators use, copied from official sources on the dates shown. It is not the complete law, it may be out of date, and only the official text has legal force. For the full and current law, use the official source linked on each page.
The OLRC says that "it is the printed version of the Code that is recognized under law as evidence of the laws of the United States" (1 U.S.C. 204), and that "The Statutes at Large is the official publication of the laws enacted during each session of Congress." Under 1 U.S.C. 204(a) the Code establishes the laws "prima facie", except that the text of titles "enacted into positive law" is "legal evidence of the laws therein contained". The text shown here is copied from the OLRC's online Code; each title page says whether that title is positive law. (uscode.house.gov , read on 19 October 2026)
