Drop a .docx onto the page, or click the drop area to choose one.
Choose a Page size and Margins, and set the Body font size if needed.
Check the Page one preview.
Press Convert to PDF, then Download PDF; nothing is uploaded.
Word to PDF converts a .docx document into a PDF that opens the same way on every phone, laptop and printer. It reads the document, lays the text out on real pages at the size and margins you choose, and gives you a file back that nobody can edit by accident on the way to its destination.
Two situations account for most of the use. Employers ask for a resume as a PDF because a .docx reflows differently on their machine and can arrive with the dates in the wrong place. Forms, invoices and letters go out as PDFs so the recipient sees the pages as they were written, and so the file can be printed without a copy of Word.
The conversion runs on your device. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored, and no account is needed, which matters when the document carries a phone number, an address or a salary. Up to 10 files at a time, each up to 25 MB. Choose A4, Letter or Legal, narrow, normal or wide margins, and the body font size before you convert; the preview shows what page one will hold.
Know what shifts. Headings, paragraphs, bold, italic, bulleted and numbered lists and simple tables are laid out. Documents built on a heavy Word template, or using text boxes, shapes, headers, footers, page numbers or merged table cells, will not match Word page for page, and images are not carried over. Text is set in Helvetica, so non-Latin scripts cannot be drawn. To go the other way, use PDF to Word.
Not exactly. The text, headings, bold, italic, lists and simple tables are laid out on real pages, and a plain document comes out very close. A document built on a designed template, or using text boxes, shapes, columns, headers, footers or merged table cells, will shift, because the layout is rebuilt rather than copied from Word. Check the preview before you send it.
No. The .docx is read and the PDF is written by code running in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server, nothing is stored, and no account is needed. Turn your connection off after the page loads and the conversion still works, which is the easiest way to check for yourself.
Because a .doc is the old binary Word format from before 2007 and is a different thing entirely from a .docx, which is a zip of XML. Open the .doc in Word, Google Docs or LibreOffice and use Save as, choosing Word Document (.docx). The saved file converts here without any trouble.
Helvetica, in regular, bold, italic and bold italic. The four are built into every PDF reader, so the file stays small and opens anywhere without embedding anything. Your document's own typefaces, colours and highlighting are not carried over. Text in scripts Helvetica cannot draw, such as Devanagari or Chinese, is replaced and the tool tells you how many characters were affected.
Yes. A4, Letter or Legal, and narrow (0.5 inch), normal (1 inch) or wide (1.5 inch) margins, plus the body font size from 8 to 16 points. Headings and list items are sized in proportion to the body size, so the whole document scales together. A4 with normal margins matches the default a Word document is usually written in.
Tables are, in a simple form: every row is laid out in equal columns with a rule underneath, so the content is readable, but merged cells, shading and borders from Word are not reproduced. Images are not included at all. If the document depends on its pictures, print it to PDF from Word instead; this tool is for getting the text out reliably without uploading the file.
Word file se PDF banaye: add a .docx, choose A4, Letter or Legal with narrow, normal or wide margins, then convert. Text, headings, lists and simple tables are laid out in Helvetica. Images are not carried over, and an old .doc has to be saved as .docx first. Up to 10 files, each 25 MB.
