Rates and rules read from the sources listed on this page (the earliest on 23 Oct 2026); they may have changed since. Not covered by that date: the 18% GST on marketplace fees, whose entry in 11/2017-Central Tax (Rate) was not re-read that day, and Meesho's fee page, which refused the request.
Amazon is preselected; pick your category on the rate card, or take your fees from Seller Central > Fee Preview.
Enter the Selling price, GST included and the Product cost, before GST.
Check the Referral / commission percentage, then type the Closing fee and the Shipping fee for your category.
Read the Profit per order, and open Where the price goes to see each fee as a share of the price.
Pick yours, type the closing and shipping fees from Fee Preview, and see the profit per order, the payout and the break-even price.
Selling on Amazon, Flipkart or Meesho looks profitable until every deduction is counted. This calculator takes one order and follows the money: the price the buyer pays, the GST inside it, the marketplace's fees, your product cost, packaging, advertising and the cost of the orders that come back.
The fees are yours to enter. Referral and commission rates depend on the category and often on the price band inside it; closing, fixed and shipping fees depend on price and weight; and marketplaces revise them several times a year. Where a marketplace publishes a rate on a public page, the calculator offers it as a pick with the date it was read: Flipkart's zero commission on fashion, and Amazon.in's referral fee for twelve common categories. Everything else comes from your own fee page, and what you type always wins. The example numbers are there to show how it works, not to be trusted.
Profit and payout are different numbers. Profit is what you keep after all costs. Payout is what lands in your bank, before you pay the supplier and after the marketplace takes its fees with GST and the TCS and TDS it holds. The break-even price is the lowest selling price that still covers every cost.

Take the selling price and remove the GST inside it. Subtract the product cost, the marketplace fees (referral or commission, closing or fixed fee, shipping), packaging, advertising per unit and the average cost of returns. What remains is the profit per order. This calculator does each step and shows the breakdown, the margin and the break-even price.
Not for a GST-registered seller. Marketplace fees carry 18% GST, which is deducted from your payout, but you claim it as input tax credit against the GST you owe on sales. That is why this calculator counts it in the payout and not in the profit. An unregistered seller cannot claim it, so it would be a real cost.
On Amazon.in, use Fee Preview in Seller Central or the fee schedule for your category. On Flipkart, open the Rate Card in Seller Hub. On Meesho, open the payment breakdown of an order in the Supplier Panel. Fees change several times a year, so check them before relying on a calculation.
Each return costs reverse shipping and sometimes the product itself. Enter the share of orders returned and what one return costs you; the calculator spreads that across every order. At a 10% return rate, a return that costs ₹100 takes ₹10 from the profit of every order sold, which is often more than the packaging.
Rates and rules change; check the source before you rely on a figure.
