Make a monthly salary slip PDF with earnings, deductions and net pay in words
Estimates only, not financial advice. What you type stays on your device. Updated on 24 Oct 2026.Salary slip: Basic ₹25,000, HRA ₹10,000 and special allowance ₹8,000 make ₹43,000 gross; less ₹2,000 of PF and professional tax, the net pay is ₹41,000, written as Rupees Forty One Thousand Only. The salary slip (payslip) generator totals the columns, writes the amount in words and downloads an A4 PDF, free, with nothing uploaded.
Type the "Company or employer name", "Company address" and pick the "Month".
Fill in the "Employee name", "Employee ID", "Designation", "PAN", "UAN (PF)" and "Paid days".
Replace the example amounts under Earnings and Deductions, adding rows with the + chips.
Check "Net pay" and the amount in words, then press "Download salary slip" to save the PDF.
A small shop, clinic or office with a few employees still needs to hand out salary slips. Employees are asked for them when they apply for a loan, rent a flat or change jobs, and a slip keeps a record of what was paid. This page makes one slip at a time as an A4 PDF, on your own device.
What goes on the slip. Your company name and address sit at the top, with the month. Below them come the employee details you choose to fill in: name, employee ID, designation, department, date of joining, PAN, UAN, bank account, and the days in the month and days paid. Earnings are listed on the left, starting with basic pay, house rent allowance and special allowance, and deductions on the right, starting with provident fund, ESI, professional tax and income tax. You can rename, remove or add rows. The page adds the gross pay and the deductions, takes one from the other, and writes the net pay in figures and in words.
Every amount is yours. The page does not calculate PF, ESI, professional tax or TDS. Those depend on wage ceilings, the state you are in, whether the employee is covered, and the tax regime and declarations the employee gave you, so enter the amounts you actually deducted. The example figures on the page are there to show the layout.
What it does not do. It is not payroll software: it does not keep a register, prorate pay for leave, file returns or deposit contributions. Your company details are remembered on this device for the next slip, and nothing you type is uploaded. The PDF uses standard fonts, so amounts print as Rs. and names should be typed in English letters.
It is free, with no sign-up and no account. The salary slip is drawn in your browser: what you type is remembered on this device only and nothing is uploaded. It does the arithmetic for you; on the sample slip ₹43,000 of earnings less ₹2,000 of deductions is ₹41,000 net, printed as Rupees Forty One Thousand Only, in an A4 PDF.
A salary slip normally shows the employer name and address, the month, the employee name and ID, designation, PAN or UAN where relevant, the days paid, each earning such as basic pay and HRA, each deduction such as PF, ESI, professional tax and TDS, the gross pay, the total deductions and the net pay in figures and words.
No. Provident fund, ESI, professional tax and income tax depend on wage ceilings, the state, whether the employee is covered and the tax regime the employee chose, so the slip carries the amounts you actually deducted. Use the EPF, ESI or salary calculators on this site to work a figure out, then type it in.
Net pay is the gross pay, which is every earning added together, less the total of every deduction. Basic ₹25,000, HRA ₹10,000 and special allowance ₹8,000 give ₹43,000 gross; deductions of ₹1,800 PF and ₹200 professional tax total ₹2,000, so the net pay is ₹41,000, written in words beneath the figure.
No. The slip is drawn as a PDF inside your browser and saved straight to your device. The company details are remembered on this device so the next slip starts filled in, and the employee figures stay in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server, so salary details never leave your computer or phone.
The PDF uses the standard built-in fonts, which every printer and viewer can read but which have no ₹ glyph, so amounts print with Rs. instead. For the same reason, names and addresses should be typed in English letters; characters outside that set are left out of the PDF rather than breaking it.
Each slip is for one employee and one month. Fill in the company once, then change the employee details and amounts and download again for the next person. The company name and address stay filled in on this device, so a slip for each of five staff takes a few minutes.
