Crop PDF pages by drawing a box or setting margins, on all pages or the ones you choose
Processed in your browser. Nothing is uploaded. Updated on 24 Oct 2026.Drop a PDF, drag a box on the page or type margins in mm, inches or percent, and crop all pages, odd, even or a list such as 1-3, 5. Files up to 100 MB and 2,000 pages work. Text stays selectable, nothing is redrawn, and nothing is uploaded.
Press Select a PDF, or drop one on the page; the first page opens with a crop box over it.
Drag the box or its handles on the page, type the margins in mm, inches or percent, or press Trim white margins.
Choose the pages: All, Odd, Even or a list such as 1-3, 5.
Press Crop PDF, check the before and after pages, then download; nothing is uploaded.
Crop PDF cuts the edges off the pages of a PDF: wide white margins, a printer's crop marks, a scanner's dark border, or everything but the one table you need. Draw the box on the page, or type the margin for each side in millimetres, inches or percent of the page, and see the result on the page before you save.
Which pages. Crop every page, only the odd or only the even pages (a scanned book has its wide margin on alternate sides), or a list such as 1-3, 5, 8-. Each page is measured from its own edges, so a document with mixed A4 and Letter pages crops correctly; in percent, every page loses the same share.
Trim white margins. One button renders the page, finds where the printing starts and stops, and sets the box to it with a small border. Look at the other pages with the arrows before cropping, since a page with a page number in the corner keeps that corner.
How the crop works. Every PDF page has a crop box that tells readers which part to show. This tool sets that box and redraws nothing: text stays sharp and searchable, links keep working, and the file stays about the same size. The hidden part is still in the file, which also means a crop can be undone. If you need the hidden content gone, use Redact PDF instead. Turn on Also change the page size when a printer or editor ignores the crop box; the media box is then cut to the same size.
Turned pages. A page saved sideways is cropped as you see it: the top margin is the top of the page on screen.
A PDF with a password needs its password first, and a digital signature will show as changed. Nothing is uploaded; the PDF is read and rewritten in your browser.
Drop the PDF, then drag the box on the first page or type a margin for each side in millimetres, inches or percent. Choose all pages, odd, even or a list, press Crop PDF and download. The pages are cropped in your browser and nothing is uploaded.
Yes. Choose Odd, Even, or These pages and type a list such as 1-3, 5, 8-. Pages not in the list are left exactly as they were. Odd and Even suit scanned books, where the wide margin falls on the left of one page and the right of the next.
No. Cropping sets the box a PDF reader shows and redraws nothing, so text stays sharp, selectable and searchable at any zoom, and links keep working. The file size stays about the same, because the pages themselves are not changed.
No, a crop hides it. Every PDF page has a crop box that readers obey, and only that box changes, so a crop can be undone. To remove text or pictures for good, for example before sharing a document, use Redact PDF, which deletes what it covers.
Press Trim white margins. The page is rendered on your device, the edges of the printing are found, and the crop box is set round them with a small border. Check the other pages with the arrows, then crop. A page number in a corner counts as printing and is kept.
Some printers and editors ignore the crop box and use the media box, the paper size. Turn on Also change the page size and both boxes are cut to the crop, so every program sees the smaller page. Leave it off to keep the hidden edges recoverable.
