Extract pages or split by ranges, with thumbnails, nothing uploaded
Processed in your browser. Nothing is uploaded. Updated on 24 Oct 2026.Splitting a PDF pulls out the pages you actually need, either one at a time or by ranges such as 3 to 7. Thumbnails show what is being selected before you save. The file stays on your device and may be up to 100 MB.
Press Select a PDF, or drop the PDF onto the page.
Under Split by choose Ranges, Every N pages or Select pages.
For Ranges type the parts, for example 1-3, 5, 8-; each part becomes its own file.
Press Split, then Download all to save the files; nothing is uploaded.
Split PDF cuts one PDF into several smaller files, or pulls out just the pages you need, and shows every page as a thumbnail so you can see what you are choosing. You get a separate PDF for each range, one file for every N pages, or a single file made of the pages you tick.
People use it to send only the relevant pages of a long agreement, to break a scanned book into chapters, to take one month out of a yearly statement, or to separate a batch of certificates that a scanner saved as one document. Ranges accept the same notation everywhere: "1-3, 5, 8-" means pages one to three, page five, and eight to the end. The preview under the options says how many files you will get before you click Split.
The whole job runs on your device. The file is never uploaded, so contracts and personal records stay on your computer or phone. One PDF at a time, up to 100 MB and 2,000 pages, with at most 100 output files per run. A protected PDF asks for its password inline; a damaged one is reported instead of silently producing empty files.
Each output keeps the original text, images and links, and holds only the pages you picked: the rest are not left inside it where a reader could still reach them. Merge PDF puts pieces back together, and Compress PDF shrinks a large scan before you share it.
Drop the PDF on the page, choose Ranges and type the page groups you want, for example 1-3, 4-6, 7-. Each range becomes its own PDF. Click Split and the files download one after another. Nothing is uploaded and no account is needed.
No. Splitting runs in your browser on your own device. The file never leaves your computer or phone, which is why it works offline once the page has loaded and why private documents are safe here.
Choose Select pages. Tick the pages you need in the thumbnail grid, using shift-click to select a run, and click Split. You get one PDF containing just those pages in page order. Switch on One file per page if you want each page separately.
Yes. Choose Every N pages and enter 2. A 10-page file becomes five PDFs of two pages each, named after the source with the page numbers, for example report-p1-2.pdf. The last file is shorter when the page count is odd.
Yes. Pages are copied as they are, with their text, fonts, images and links, and nothing is re-rendered or compressed, so a split file is the same quality as the page in the original. Bookmarks and fillable form fields are not carried over, the same as in Organize PDF; a field keeps its look but stops being fillable.
One PDF at a time, up to 100 MB and 2,000 pages, and at most 100 output files per run so the downloads stay manageable. A password-protected PDF can be split after you enter its password; the tool cannot open a PDF whose password you do not know.
Alag-alag files banaye: choose Ranges and type groups such as 1-3, 4-6, 7-, or choose Select pages and tick what you need in the thumbnail grid. One PDF at a time, up to 100 MB and 2,000 pages, with at most 100 output files per run. Pages are copied as they are, never re-compressed.
