Put 2, 4, 6, 8, 9 or 16 PDF pages on each printed sheet
Processed in your browser. Nothing is uploaded. Updated on 25 Oct 2026.Printing lecture slides, a long report or reference pages one to a sheet wastes paper. Choose how many pages go on each sheet - 2, 4, 6, 8, 9 or 16 - and the sheet is turned whichever way fits them largest.
Press Choose PDF and add the slides or report; Pages per sheet starts at 4.
Change Pages per sheet to 2, 6, 8, 9 or 16 if you prefer, and pick the Paper.
Turn on Borders for a thin line round each page.
Press Download 4-up PDF and print the new file.
Pages are placed as real PDF pages rather than pictures, so text stays sharp enough to read at a quarter of its size, and nothing is uploaded.
Two jobs the print shop does every day, done before the PDF reaches the printer.
A booklet. Tick Booklet and the pages are put in saddle-stitch order: two to each side of the paper, arranged so that when the sheets are printed on both sides, stacked and folded in half, the booklet reads in order. The page count is made up to a multiple of four with blank pages at the end. Print double-sided and flip on the short edge; the preview shows the front and back of the first sheet so you can check before printing.
Sharp, not scanned. The pages are placed as PDF pages, not turned into pictures, so text stays crisp and selectable and the file stays small. A scanned page that the PDF marks as rotated is turned the way a PDF reader shows it.

Drop the PDF, choose 4 under Pages per sheet and download. The pages are placed two by two on a portrait sheet, each centred and at the same scale, so a 10-page PDF prints on 3 sheets. Print the new PDF normally, one page per sheet.
Tick Booklet and download. The pages are put in folding order, two to each side of the paper, with blank pages added to reach a multiple of four. Print double-sided, flipping on the short edge, then stack the sheets and fold them in half.
Yes. The pages are placed as real PDF pages, not pictures, so text stays vector and prints as sharply as the printer allows, even at a quarter of its original size. The file also stays close to the original's size.
A4, A3 and US Letter. The sheet turns to landscape or portrait by itself, whichever gives the pages the most room. A3 is useful for a booklet of A4 pages, since each side then holds two full-size pages.
