A random whole number from 1 to 100, or a list of them, in one click

Press Generate for one, or raise the count for a list, with or without repeats. Both 1 and 100 can come up, and every value has exactly a 1 in 100 chance on each draw, because the tool redraws rather than folding leftover random values onto the small numbers.
From is already 1 and To is 100.
Press Generate.
Read the number; it is drawn on your device without bias.
Press Generate again for another, or Copy to share it.
The Random Number Generator draws numbers from any range you give it. Set the smallest and largest values, choose how many you want, and press Generate. Both ends of the range can come up. Ask for one number to settle a turn, six different numbers for a slip, or ten thousand for a spreadsheet.
Three switches cover what people usually need. No repeats makes every result different, which is what a raffle, a seating plan or a sample from a list needs; the tool tells you when the range is too small for the count you asked for. Decimal places give values in equal steps, so 0 to 1 with two places can return any of 0.00, 0.01 and so on up to 1.00, each equally likely. Sort puts the list smallest first or largest first.
The numbers come from crypto.getRandomValues, the random source your browser uses for encryption keys, not from Math.random. Many simple tools take a random word and use the remainder after dividing by the size of the range, which makes the smaller results slightly more likely whenever the range does not divide evenly. This one throws away the few words that would cause that and draws again, so every value has exactly the same chance. Ranges up to about two thousand trillion values are handled exactly.

Switch on No repeats, set the range and the count, and press Generate. Every number in the result will be different. If the count is larger than the number of values in the range, for example 20 different numbers from 1 to 10, the tool says so instead of returning a list with repeats.
The numbers come from crypto.getRandomValues, the cryptographically secure generator built into every modern browser, which is seeded by the operating system from hardware events. No pattern or seed can be learned from earlier results, and the tool never falls back to the weaker Math.random.
Modulo bias happens when a random 32-bit word is reduced to a range with the remainder operator and the range does not divide 4,294,967,296 evenly, so small results come up slightly more often. The tool avoids that by discarding the few words above the largest even multiple and drawing again.
Choose the number of decimal places, from 1 to 6. Values are picked in equal steps of that size between the smallest and largest number, and both ends are included. With 0 to 1 and 2 places there are 101 possible values, from 0.00 to 1.00, each with the same chance.
