Turn the best 30 seconds of a song into a ringtone for an iPhone or an Android phone
Processed in your browser. Nothing is uploaded. Updated on 24 Oct 2026.A ringtone is a short stretch of a song with a gentle start and end. Drop the song here, drag the handles to the part you want, and the page fades it in over a second and out over two. It comes back as M4A, which Android plays and GarageBand on an iPhone imports; M4R for an iPhone and MP3 for an MP3 source are one tap away. Nothing is uploaded.
Choose the song; Ringtone mode is already on, with one clip and a gentle Fade in and Fade out.
Drag the handles to the best part of the song, up to 30 seconds if it is for an iPhone.
Format starts on M4A, which plays on Android and iPhone; pick M4R (iPhone) or MP3 instead if you need them.
Press Make the ringtone, then Download, and follow How to set it as your ringtone on the page.
Mark the parts of a recording worth keeping, press the button, and each one arrives as its own file. The file is read by this page on your own device; no copy is sent anywhere, no account is asked for, and nothing is stamped on the sound.
WAV is always available: the decoded samples written out untouched, exact but large, about 10 MB a minute in stereo. M4A is AAC in an MP4 container, encoded by the browser's own WebCodecs encoder at 256 kbps, and about a fifth of that size. Chrome, Edge and Safari 16.4 or later have that encoder; where a browser lacks it, the page says so before the button rather than failing after it. MP3 comes out only when an MP3 went in, because no browser can encode MP3 and the free encoders carry a copyleft licence this site will not ship. The original frames are copied instead, so the sound is untouched, but each cut lands on a 26-millisecond frame edge and cannot fade.
Ringtone mode keeps one clip, fades it in over a second and out over two, and saves it for a phone. For an iPhone it writes M4R, which is an M4A under the name iPhone ringtones use, and holds it to 30 seconds, Apple's published limit. Apple documents one way to set a custom ringtone: import the file into GarageBand on the iPhone, then Share, Ringtone and "Use sound as". Dragging an M4R onto the phone in Finder or iTunes also works for many people, but Apple does not describe it. Android plays MP3, M4A and WAV ringtones with no length limit.

Browsers can decode an MP3 but none can encode one, and the free MP3 encoders carry a copyleft licence this site will not ship. So WAV is the default, written straight from the decoded samples. From an MP3 source, MP3 is offered by copying its original frames, and M4A is offered wherever the browser has an AAC encoder.
Roughly ten times, for a typical MP3. A minute of 44,100 Hz stereo at 16-bit is 10.1 MB, while a minute of 128 kbps MP3 is about 0.94 MB. The page works the figure out for your own file and shows it above the button. Mono halves it, and M4A at 256 kbps is about 1.9 MB a minute.
Audio kaise cut kare: add the file to this page, drag the two handles to the part you want, and press the cut button. No app, no account and no upload is involved, because the browser does the work on your own phone or laptop. The clip is saved as a WAV file.
Apple documents one route: save the file to the Files app, import it into GarageBand on the iPhone, then tap Share, Ringtone, Export and "Use sound as". GarageBand also takes the M4A or MP3. Dragging the M4R onto the phone in Finder or iTunes works for many people, but Apple's support pages do not describe that route.
