Resize by pixels or percent, with presets for passport photos and social media
Processed in your browser. Nothing is uploaded. Updated on 25 Oct 2026.Resizing changes a picture's dimensions in pixels, by percentage, or to a preset. An Indian passport photo, for instance, is 35 by 45 mm at 300 DPI, which is exactly 413 by 531 pixels. Twenty photos can be resized at once, each up to 50 MB, without uploading any.
Drop images on the box or click it to choose them; JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, AVIF and HEIC all open.
Under Resize by, pick Pixels and type a Width or Height, or pick Percent and move the Scale slider.
Keep Lock aspect ratio on and leave one side empty to follow the photo's shape, or turn it off to set both sides.
Check the Output line, which shows the new size in pixels, then press Resize.
Press Download to save the resized copy. The resizing runs in your browser and nothing is uploaded.
Resize Image changes the pixel size of JPG, PNG, WebP and iPhone HEIC photos and shows the result next to the original before you download it. Type a width or height, pick a percentage, or choose a preset, and the other side follows the photo's ratio unless you unlock it.
People use it to make a passport photo at 35×45 mm (413×531 pixels at 300 DPI) for Indian passport, visa and exam forms, to fit a picture to Instagram's square, portrait or story sizes, and to shrink a 12-megapixel phone photo down to something a website or email can handle. When a preset has a different shape from your photo, "Fill and crop" trims the centre so the output is exactly the size the form asks for.
Everything runs on your device. Photos are never uploaded, so ID photos and personal pictures stay on your computer or phone. Add up to 20 files at once, each up to 50 MB, and download them one by one or all together. Outputs are capped at 10,000 pixels a side.
Enlarging a small photo adds pixels but not detail, so keep enlargements under 200 percent when you can. Use Compress Image afterwards if a form also sets a file-size limit in KB, and Convert Image if you only need a different format.
Add the photo, open Presets and choose Passport photo (India). That sets 413 by 531 pixels, which is 35 by 45 mm at 300 DPI, the size most Indian passport, visa and exam portals ask for. Keep Fill and crop selected so the output is exactly that size, then download.
No. Resizing runs in your browser on your own device. The file never leaves your computer or phone, which is why there is no waiting and why ID photos are safe to resize here.
Making a photo smaller keeps it sharp. Making it larger cannot add detail that was not there, so enlargements above about 200 percent look soft. Lossy outputs such as JPG also depend on the quality slider; 85 is a safe default.
Fit inside keeps the whole photo and may leave one side shorter than the preset. Fill and crop makes the output exactly the preset size by trimming the centre. Stretch forces the size without cropping, which distorts the picture, so use it only for graphics.
File size in KB depends on both pixels and compression. Resize first to reduce the pixels, then use Compress Image with Target size mode to hit an exact KB limit.
Up to 20 images per batch, each up to 50 MB, with outputs up to 10,000 pixels on the longest side. JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, AVIF and HEIC are accepted; HEIC output is saved as JPG because browsers cannot write HEIC.
Photo ka size badlein: type a width or height in pixels, drag the percentage, or open Presets and choose Passport photo (India), which sets 413 by 531 pixels. Fill and crop trims the centre so the output is exactly that size. Up to 20 images per batch, each 50 MB, capped at 10,000 pixels a side.
