Turn photos 90°, 180° or any angle, mirror them, and fix sideways phone pictures
Processed in your browser. Nothing is uploaded. Updated on 24 Oct 2026.Phone photographs often arrive sideways because the camera saved the rotation as a tag rather than turning the pixels. Turn them 90 degrees, 180, or any angle, mirror them, and save the result properly oriented. Up to 20 files of 50 MB each.
Drop up to 20 images on the page or click to choose them; they are processed on your device and nothing is uploaded.
Press Rotate left, Rotate right, Turn 180°, Flip horizontal or Flip vertical, or drag the Angle slider for a small tilt.
Leave Straighten from camera data on so phone photos saved sideways come out upright.
Press Apply (or Apply to all for several), then Download; several images download together as a zip.
Rotate and Flip Image turns a photo a quarter turn left or right, upside down, or by any angle you choose, and mirrors it left to right or top to bottom. The preview updates as you press each button, so you see exactly what will be saved before you download.
The most common reason to use it is a phone photo that shows up sideways on a computer, in an email or on an upload form. Phones store the picture one way and add a note saying which way is up; some apps read the note and some ignore it. With Straighten from camera data switched on, the tool applies that note to the pixels themselves, so the photo looks right everywhere. The angle slider fixes a crooked horizon or a scan that went in at a slant, and fills the uncovered corners with white, a colour you pick, or transparency for PNG and WebP.
Rotation happens in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, and you can add up to 20 photos of up to 50 MB each; the same rotation and flip apply to all of them, and you can download them one by one or together as a zip. Right-angle turns keep every pixel; other angles need a slightly larger canvas and a little smoothing.
Keyboard users can press Ctrl+Enter to apply. Use Crop Image afterwards to trim filled corners away, or Resize Image to change the pixel size.
Add the picture and press Rotate right for a quarter turn clockwise, or Rotate left for anticlockwise. Press again to keep turning. The preview shows the result, then Apply and download saves it. The same turn is applied to every photo you added.
No. Rotating and flipping happen in your browser on your own device. The photos never reach a server, which is why it works offline once the page has loaded and why private pictures stay private.
Phones save the picture in the direction the sensor faces and add a small orientation note. Your phone reads the note; some computers, websites and forms do not. Keep Straighten from camera data switched on and the tool turns the pixels themselves, so the photo is upright everywhere.
Mirror, or flip horizontal, swaps left and right, like looking in a mirror. Flip vertical turns the picture top to bottom, like a reflection in water. Both reverse any text in the photo. Rotating 180 degrees is different: it turns the picture upside down without reversing it.
Yes. Drag the angle slider or type an angle such as 2.5 degrees. The picture gets a slightly larger canvas so no part is cut off, and the corners are filled with white, a colour you choose, or left transparent for PNG and WebP. Crop the corners away afterwards if you like.
Up to 20 images at a time, each up to 50 MB, with outputs up to 10,000 pixels on the longest side. HEIC photos are saved as JPG because browsers cannot write HEIC.
