A handwritten signature sized for the bottom of an email

Processed in your browser. Nothing is uploaded. Updated on 24 Oct 2026.

A handwritten signature under an email reads warmer than a typed name, but most attempts arrive as a grey photo of paper. Draw it here instead and it comes out as a 400 by 120 transparent PNG, sharp at its real size and small enough to paste into Gmail or Outlook settings. Change the size if your template needs another, and nothing is uploaded.

Next:
  • Compress the image Shrink JPG, PNG and WebP with a live before and after preview
  • Resize the image Resize by pixels or percent, with presets for passport photos and social media
  • Convert the image JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, BMP, TIFF, ICO, SVG and HEIC, converted on your device

How to add a handwritten signature to an email

1

Sign your name in the Draw box; Email is already picked, so it is sized 400×120 px.

2

Keep Background on Transparent (PNG) so it sits on any email theme, or pick White (JPEG).

3

Choose Bolder under Stroke weight if the line looks thin at email size.

4

Press Download, then add the picture as an image in your Gmail or Outlook signature settings.

How Email Signature Image works

Most people fail an exam portal's signature upload for one of two reasons: the picture is the wrong number of pixels, or the file is the wrong number of kilobytes. A clean signature at 140 by 60 pixels usually comes out at about 4 KB, and the IBPS portal refuses anything under 10.

Documents and email. Choose a transparent PNG instead, and the signature sits on a Word page, a PDF or an email with nothing around the ink.

Everything happens in your browser. The signature is drawn, sized and saved on your device and is never sent anywhere.

Frequently asked questions

How do I make a signature of 140×60 pixels between 10 and 20 KB?

Draw or upload your signature and choose IBPS and SBI. The page writes exactly 140 by 60 pixels as a white JPEG at the highest quality that fits under 20 KB, and if the file is still under 10 KB it adds blank space inside the file, without changing a pixel.

Why does the exam portal say my signature is too small?

A plain black signature on white compresses to almost nothing, often 3 or 4 KB at 140 by 60 pixels, and portals such as IBPS refuse anything under 10 KB. This page raises the file size to the floor with padding the portal ignores, so the picture stays exactly the same.

Can I get a signature with a transparent background?

Yes. Choose Documents or Email, or set the background to transparent under Custom, and you get a PNG with nothing around the ink, ready for Word, Google Docs, a PDF or an email signature. Exam portals want a white JPEG, so exam presets always use white.

Is my signature uploaded anywhere?

No. Drawing, sizing and saving all happen in this browser tab on your own device. The signature is never sent to a server, and nothing is kept once you close the page, apart from your chosen settings.
