One workbook per sheet with every formula replaced by its value, safe to send on
Processed in your browser. Nothing is uploaded. Checked against sources on 16 Oct 2026.A sheet sent on its own is safest without formulas: the person receiving it sees exactly the numbers you saw, nothing recalculates, and no formula reveals how a price or a score was worked out. This page opens with Values only chosen, so each workbook it writes holds every result as a plain value, while formatting, column widths and merged cells stay as they were. Nothing is uploaded.

A workbook with one sheet per region, month or person often has to go out in pieces: each manager gets their own tab, each month is archived on its own, each client sees only their data. In Excel that means Move or Copy for every sheet, or a VBA macro.
Formulas within the sheet stay live. Choose Values only to replace every formula by its value, which is useful when the files go to people who should see results, not workings.
One sheet into several files. Under Split by, Rows per file cuts a sheet into workbooks of, say, 1,000 rows, and Column value writes one workbook per region, branch or month in the column you pick, header row in each. These hold values and number formats only; colours, merges and formulas are not copied.

Drop the .xlsx file on Excel Sheet Splitter. Every sheet is listed and ticked; press Split into N workbooks and each sheet becomes its own .xlsx named after the workbook and the sheet, such as Budget - March.xlsx. Download them one by one or all together as a ZIP.
Yes. Each new file is a trimmed copy of your workbook rather than a rebuilt one, so fonts, colours, number formats, column widths, merged cells, frozen panes, images, charts and tables on the kept sheet stay exactly as they were. Only the other sheets and the parts that belonged to them are removed.
A formula such as =SUM(Sales!B2:B9) would show #REF! once the Sales sheet is gone, so it is replaced by the value it last showed. Formulas that only use their own sheet stay live. Choose Values only to turn every formula into its value, which is safer for files you send to others.
Drop the workbook, choose Rows per file or Column value under Split by, then pick the sheet and the number of rows or the column. Each new workbook gets the header row and its rows in order, for example one file per region. Values and number formats are kept; colours, merged cells and formulas are not copied.
Rates and rules change; check the source before you rely on a figure.
