Form ke liye photo aur signature ko sahi pixel aur sahi KB dono me, ek saath
Processed in your browser. Nothing is uploaded. Updated on 25 Oct 2026.Form do cheezein maangta hai ek saath: exact pixel aur exact KB. Sirf size kam karne wale tool pixel bigaad dete hain aur resize karne wale KB ki parwah nahi karte, isliye upload baar baar reject hota hai. Yahan dono ek saath set hote hain, aur agar file portal ke minimum se chhoti nikle to picture badle bina usme khali bytes jodkar sahi size tak layi jaati hai.
Pick the exam or form, then choose your photo or signature.
Check the preview: the size in pixels and in KB is what the form asks for.
Download the resized file. Nothing was uploaded.
An Indian application portal checks two things and rejects the upload if either is wrong: the pixel dimensions, and the file size in kilobytes. Ordinary tools solve one and break the other. A resizer gets 200 by 230 exactly right and hands back 180 KB. A compressor gets to 40 KB by scaling the picture down, which is the one move that is not available here, because the portal is measuring the pixels.
Every portal states a band, not a ceiling. IBPS wants a signature between 10 KB and 20 KB, and a clean black-on-white signature at 140 by 60 pixels encodes to about 4 KB at any quality a browser will produce. There is nothing in the image to spend bytes on, so no slider reaches 10 KB, and the portal refuses the file for being too small.
The answer is a JPEG comment segment: a block of blank bytes that every decoder is required to skip. The file reaches the size the portal asked for and not one pixel of the picture changes. The result line says how many bytes were added, so nothing is done behind your back.

Padding solves it. A clean signature at 140 by 60 pixels encodes to roughly 4 KB and cannot reach a 10 KB floor by raising quality, because there is nothing in the picture to spend bytes on. Blank JPEG comment bytes are added instead, which every decoder skips and which change no pixel.
General compressors reach a target size by scaling the picture down, since fewer pixels means fewer bytes. An exam portal checks the dimensions, so a 200 by 230 requirement met at 160 by 184 is refused. This page holds the dimensions fixed and moves only JPEG quality, which is the only lever left.
Preset chuniye aur photo daaliye; size kam karna apne aap ho jaata hai. The page fixes the pixel dimensions the form demands and then searches for the highest JPEG quality that still lands inside the KB band, so both requirements are met by one file rather than one at the cost of the other.
A dark or detailed photograph at a small pixel size sometimes stays above the ceiling even at low quality, and the dimensions may not be reduced. The page says so rather than handing back a file that will be rejected, and the two things that genuinely help are a plainer background and a tighter crop before uploading.
