THR Keagamaan is the religious-holiday allowance every Indonesian employer must pay once a year, before the worker's own religious holiday: Idul Fitri, Christmas, Nyepi, Waisak or Imlek. This calculator applies the Minister of Manpower's Regulation No. 6 of 2016, which sets the minimum.

A worker with at least one month but less than twelve months of continuous service gets months of service divided by 12, times one month's wage. With 8 months of service and a wage of Rp6,000,000, the THR is 8 ÷ 12 × Rp6,000,000, which is Rp4,000,000.
No. Permenaker 6/2016 gives THR only to workers with at least one month of continuous service before the holiday. From the first full month the right begins, at one twelfth of a month's wage, and it grows by a twelfth with each further month.
One month's wage means either the clean wage without allowances or the basic wage including fixed allowances. Article 3 (2) of the regulation allows either of the two. If the contract or company rules promise a higher THR, the higher amount applies.
THR must be paid in rupiah at least 7 days before the worker's religious holiday. An employer who pays late is fined 5% of the total THR due, and the fine does not remove the duty to pay the THR in full.
