Checked against sources on 18 Oct 2026, except Andhra Pradesh's profession tax schedule, which the state's tax portal did not show; the Telangana bands are used for it.Income tax is usually the largest cut out of a salary, and which regime you pick changes it a lot. This page starts on the old regime with rent entered, so the HRA exemption, 80C and your provident fund are all working, and shows the tax for the year and the month. Switch the regime at the top to see the other answer immediately.

Take the CTC, remove the employer's provident fund contribution and the amount set aside for gratuity, and you have gross salary. From gross salary take off your own PF, professional tax and income tax. What is left, divided by twelve, is your in-hand pay. This page does all of it once you enter the CTC.
For most salaried people the new regime does, because its rates are lower and the standard deduction is 75,000 instead of 50,000. The old regime wins when rent, 80C, health insurance and home loan interest together come to a large share of your salary. Switch the regime here and compare the two monthly figures.
Yes. Gratuity is set aside at fifteen days of basic pay for each year, which is 4.81% of yearly basic, and you can turn it off if your CTC does not include it. Bonus is a percentage of CTC that you set. Gratuity is only paid to you after five years of service, so it is not part of monthly take-home.
In-hand salary nikalna: enter the CTC and the basic percentage. The employer's provident fund and the gratuity set aside come off first to give gross salary, then your own 12% PF, your state's professional tax and income tax are deducted. What remains, divided by twelve, is your monthly pay.
