Combine 2 to 12 photos into one collage for Instagram, Stories or A4
Processed in your browser. Nothing is uploaded. Updated on 25 Oct 2026.A collage maker combines several photos into one picture. This free tool lays out 2 to 12 photos in a grid, a row, a column or around one large photo, on a square, 4:5, 9:16 Story, 16:9 or A4 canvas, with adjustable spacing, border colour and rounded corners, and saves a full-resolution JPG or PNG without uploading anything.
Press Select images, or drop 2 to 12 photos on the page; the collage appears at once.
Pick a Layout and a Shape such as Square 1:1, Story 9:16 or A4 portrait.
Drag one photo onto another to swap them, and set Spacing, Corners and the border colour.
Choose JPG or PNG and press Download collage; it is saved at full resolution.
Collage Maker turns a handful of photos into one image you can post, send or print. Add the pictures and a collage appears straight away; every change after that shows at once on the preview.
Five layouts: Grid, which picks the number of columns that keeps each tile closest to square; Side by side; Stacked; Large left; and Large top, where the first photo takes the big cell and the rest share the remaining space. A short last row is stretched across, so a grid never has an empty hole.
The canvas shapes are Square 1:1 (1080 × 1080), Portrait 4:5 (1080 × 1350), Story 9:16 (1080 × 1920), Landscape 16:9 (1920 × 1080) and A4 in portrait or landscape at 300 dpi (2480 × 3508).
Fill crops each photo from its centre so it covers its tile, the usual look for a collage. Fit shows the whole photo inside its tile, with the border colour around it. Drag one photo onto another to swap them, or use the order buttons under the preview.
Spacing and corner radius scale with the canvas, so the preview and the saved file look the same.
Full resolution, by default, enlarges the canvas until the most detailed photo is drawn at its own pixel size, up to 8000 pixels on the long side and 40 megapixels, so nothing is softened. Standard size saves the shape's own pixel size, which is what Instagram displays anyway. JPG keeps the file small; PNG is lossless and larger.
Everything runs in your browser and the photos never leave your device. To cut a single photo to a shape first, use Crop Image; to print several copies of one photo on a sheet, use Photo Print Sheet; to make a PDF of the photos instead, use Image to PDF.
Open Collage Maker, press Select images and choose 2 to 12 photos. The collage appears at once in a grid; pick another layout or shape if you like, then press Download collage. There is no account, no watermark and no upload, because the collage is drawn in your own browser.
An Instagram post works best as Square 1:1 at 1080 × 1080 pixels or Portrait 4:5 at 1080 × 1350, which fills more of the feed. A Story is 9:16 at 1080 × 1920. Choose the matching Shape and the collage is laid out for it; full resolution can save it larger.
Yes. Drag one photo onto another on the preview and the two swap places. On a keyboard, or for finer control, use the arrows under each thumbnail to move a photo earlier or later. In the Large left and Large top layouts, the first photo takes the big cell.
No, with Full resolution chosen. The canvas grows until the most detailed photo is drawn at its own pixel size, up to 8000 pixels on the long side and 40 megapixels. Choose PNG for a lossless file, or JPG at quality 92 for a file several times smaller.
Yes. Spacing sets the gap between photos and around the edge, from none to a thick border, and the colour picker sets its colour; white and black are the common choices. Corners rounds every photo, from square to fully rounded tiles. Both scale with the canvas.
No. Collage Maker draws the collage on a canvas inside your browser, so the photos never leave your device and nothing is stored. Up to 12 photos of up to 50 MB each are accepted, including JPG, PNG, WebP and HEIC from an iPhone.
