The indemnización. Article 82 pays one month's salary for each year of continuous service, and a proportional part for the rest of a year. The salary is the average of the last six months. Decreto 76-78 (aguinaldo) and Decreto 42-92 (Bono 14) add each bonus to that base in the proportion of six months, half a salary each, so the monthly base is seven salaries over six months: the salary times 14/12. The calculator counts complete years from the start date and the days of the year in progress over 365.
Vacation. Article 130 gives 15 working days after each year of service, and article 133 pays in money the vacation not taken and the proportional part of the year in progress. The calculator values a day at the monthly salary divided by 30.
