This calculator turns a gross monthly salary in pesos (sueldo bruto imponible) into the sueldo líquido a Chilean payslip shows, with every deduction on its own line: AFP, health, seguro de cesantía and the Impuesto Único de Segunda Categoría. The employer's own contributions are shown separately.
AFP. 10% of taxable pay goes to your pension account, plus your AFP's commission, from 0.46% (Uno) to 1.45% (ProVida). Both stop at the tope imponible of 90 UF a month. The commissions are Previred's April 2026 rates; the box lets you match your payslip.
Health. Fonasa takes 7% of taxable pay up to the same tope. With an Isapre you pay the plan's price in UF when it is more than the 7%. For the tax, only up to 7% of the tope (about $259.158 at today's UF) comes off the base, as the SII's Oficio 2406 explains.
Seguro de cesantía. On an indefinite contract you pay 0.6% and the employer 2.4%, up to 135.2 UF. On a fixed-term contract the employer pays 3% and you pay nothing; after 11 years in the same job your part stops.
Impuesto único. The tax base is the taxable pay minus AFP, health and cesantía. The SII's monthly table is exempt up to 13.5 UTM and then charges from 4% to 40% with a cantidad a rebajar. The UTM changes every month and the UF every day, so both are boxes with the October 2026 values (UTM $72.151, UF $41.136,24 on 10 October): check today's on sii.cl.
Employer cost. From August 2026 pay the employer adds 3.5% under the pension reform, which now includes the disability and survivors' insurance (SIS), plus its share of the seguro de cesantía. Work-accident insurance is not included.
Gratificación. The switch adds the art. 50 gratificación: 25% of pay, capped at 4.75 minimum wages a year ($219.115 a month with the $553.553 minimum wage).

Only partly. The SII's Oficio 2406 lets the legal 7% and any extra Isapre amount come off the tax base together up to 7% of the tope imponible, about $259.158 at the UF of 10 October 2026. Anything you pay above that is taxed.
On a fixed-term or per-job contract the employer pays the whole 3% and the worker pays nothing. On an indefinite contract the worker pays 0.6% and the employer 2.4%; after 11 years in the same job the worker stops paying and the employer keeps paying 0.8%.
