CTS trunca (D.S. 001-97-TR). The part of the CTS semester (May to October, or November to April) not yet deposited, paid directly. The base is the pay at the date of leaving plus one sixth of the gratificación received in the semester; it counts one twelfth per complete month and one thirtieth of a twelfth per day.
Gratificación trunca (Ley 27735). One sixth of the monthly pay for each complete calendar month worked in the semester of leaving (January to June, or July to December), with at least one whole month. The employer's EsSalud contribution of 9% (6.75% with an EPS) is paid on top as a bonificación extraordinaria (Ley 30334).
Vacaciones truncas (D.Leg. 713). Thirty days a year, so the months and days since the last work anniversary are paid by twelfths and thirtieths of the pay: on S/ 2,000, six months and 18 days give S/ 1,100. A complete year not taken is paid in full, and one not taken within the following year adds a second month's pay as an indemnización.
Despido arbitrario (D.S. 003-97-TR art. 38). One and a half monthly pays per complete year, part years by twelfths and thirtieths, never more than twelve pays, once the three-month trial period is over. A resignation does not earn it.
Not included. The small and micro business regimes, variable-pay averages, the last month's salary, nulidad de despido, fixed-term contracts and deductions. An estimate, not legal advice. For a salary that goes on, the Peru Net Salary Calculator shows the full gratificaciones and CTS deposits.
