Hide stray text or an icon on your own clip with a colour-matched box
Processed in your browser. Nothing is uploaded. Updated on 25 Oct 2026.Generated clips sometimes carry stray overlay text or garbled letters, and a corner icon. This page covers such an area of your own clip with a box filled with a colour picked from the frame, with an optional soft edge and rounded corners, for the whole clip or chosen seconds. It does not remove or reconstruct anything underneath, and it is meant for marks on video you made, not for removing anyone else’s watermark.
Choose your clip, open it in the list and press + Cover box.
Drag a rectangle over the text on the picture; its colour is taken from around it.
Press Pick colour and tap the frame to match it exactly, add a soft edge or round corners, and limit it to a few seconds if the text only shows briefly.
Press Save the video, or place your own logo over a corner icon instead.
The Video Studio turns a handful of generated or filmed clips into a finished YouTube video or Short. Clips, a voice-over and a logo go in together.
Logo and cover boxes. Your PNG logo sits bottom right at 12 per cent of the short side, over the corner icon a generator leaves, and you can drag, pinch or set it with sliders. Kept for later; off by default. A cover box hides overlay text or garbled letters on one clip, filled with a colour taken from the frame by an eyedropper, with a soft edge and rounded corners if wanted, for the whole clip or chosen seconds.
What it does not do. No text titles, effects, filters or picture-in-picture, and it does not remove watermarks: a box covers an area of your own clip, nothing more. Nothing is uploaded; in Chrome and Edge the file is written straight to disk.

A browser's file dialog does not report the order you clicked files in; Windows hands over the last-clicked file first, then the folder's order. Video Studio therefore sorts several clips chosen together by file name, clip 2 before clip 10, or by date modified if you choose. Clips added one at a time always go to the end, so your own order is kept.
A logo changes every frame, so the whole video is encoded again; nothing can be copied untouched. Video Studio encodes at the clips' own resolution and frame rate, at 16 Mbps or more for 1080p and 45 Mbps for 4K, or 1.5 times the source bitrate. The result looks the same as the clips, and the page shows the bitrate it used.
No. A cover box paints a rectangle over an area of your own clip, filled with a colour picked from the frame, with a soft edge if you like. Nothing underneath is recovered or rebuilt. Use it for stray text or an icon on video you made, or put your own logo over a corner instead.
The clip order, trims, boxes, logo settings and voice-over edits are saved in this browser as you work, and the logo image is kept too. Next time the page offers to continue. Chrome and Edge reopen the same files if you chose them with the button; elsewhere you add them again and they are matched by name and size.
