Join clips with transitions, add a logo and voice-over, cover stray text, in the browser
Processed in your browser. Nothing is uploaded. Updated on 25 Oct 2026.Video Studio joins clips with hard cuts or 11 transitions, puts your logo over a corner, covers stray text with a colour picked from the frame, mutes or keeps each clip's sound and lays a voice-over you cut with Split and Delete. Everything runs in your browser, and the page states the output bitrate before you save.
Press Choose clips and pick the clips, the voice-over and your logo PNG together; clips line up by file name and the logo sits bottom right.
Reorder clips with the arrows or by dragging, open a clip to trim it, mute its sound or add a cover box with a picked colour.
On the voice-over lane press Split on each side of a bad word, tap the piece between and press Delete; set Speed to 1.1 if you like.
Pick a transition for all cuts or tap one cut for its own, then press Save the video: every frame is re-encoded at the clips’ own size and frame rate.
The Video Studio turns a handful of generated or filmed clips into a finished YouTube video or Short. Clips, a voice-over and a logo go in together.
Clips. Clips added one at a time keep the order you add them in. Several chosen together are sorted by file name, clip 2 before clip 10, or by date modified, because a file dialog does not report the order you clicked. Reorder them with the arrows or by dragging, and open one to trim it. A clip keeps or mutes its own sound, with its own volume, for when the generated voice in it went wrong.
Logo and cover boxes. Your PNG logo sits bottom right at 12 per cent of the short side, over the corner icon a generator leaves, and you can drag, pinch or set it with sliders. Kept for later; off by default. A cover box hides overlay text or garbled letters on one clip, filled with a colour taken from the frame by an eyedropper, with a soft edge and rounded corners if wanted, for the whole clip or chosen seconds.
Voice-over and music. Place the playhead and press Split on each side of a bad word, tap the piece between and Delete: the rest closes up, with a 15 ms fade at every join so nothing clicks. Pieces can be dragged, nudged by 10 ms or sped up without changing the pitch.
Transitions and quality. Clips join with a hard cut unless you pick a transition: dissolve, fade through black or white, four wipes, two slides, zoom in or a circle reveal, 0.1 to 2 s, for every cut or for one cut at a time. The clips' sound cross-fades with it, or dips to silence through a fade to a colour. Because the logo is on every frame, the whole video is re-encoded, at the clips' own size and frame rate and at least 16 Mbps for 1080p (45 Mbps for 4K), or 1.5 times the source's bitrate if that is higher. The result looks the same as the clips but is not a bit-for-bit copy.
What it does not do. No text titles, effects, filters or picture-in-picture, and it does not remove watermarks: a box covers an area of your own clip, nothing more. Nothing is uploaded; in Chrome and Edge the file is written straight to disk.
None, a hard cut, is the default. You can also pick Dissolve, Fade through black or white, Wipe left, right, up or down, Slide left or right, Zoom in or Circle reveal, from 0.1 to 2 seconds. Set one for every cut, or tap a single cut to give it its own. Each transition shortens the video by its length, because the two clips overlap.
A browser's file dialog does not report the order you clicked files in; Windows hands over the last-clicked file first, then the folder's order. Video Studio therefore sorts several clips chosen together by file name, clip 2 before clip 10, or by date modified if you choose. Clips added one at a time always go to the end, so your own order is kept.
A logo changes every frame, so the whole video is encoded again; nothing can be copied untouched. Video Studio encodes at the clips' own resolution and frame rate, at 16 Mbps or more for 1080p and 45 Mbps for 4K, or 1.5 times the source bitrate. The result looks the same as the clips, and the page shows the bitrate it used.
Play the voice-over, stop just before the bad word and press Split, move just past it and press Split again. Tap the small piece between and press Delete. The pieces either side close up, with a 15 ms fade at the join so it does not click. Zoom the timeline to place a split within a few milliseconds.
Yes. The speed control changes the tempo and keeps the pitch, using the same time-stretch method as the Audio Editor. Type 1.1 and apply it to one selected piece or to the whole voice-over lane; pieces after it move up so the joins stay closed. Anything from 0.25 to 4 times works.
No. A cover box paints a rectangle over an area of your own clip, filled with a colour picked from the frame, with a soft edge if you like. Nothing underneath is recovered or rebuilt. Use it for stray text or an icon on video you made, or put your own logo over a corner instead.
The clip order, trims, boxes, logo settings and voice-over edits are saved in this browser as you work, and the logo image is kept too. Next time the page offers to continue. Chrome and Edge reopen the same files if you chose them with the button; elsewhere you add them again and they are matched by name and size.
Yes, on Android in Chrome, which has the video encoder the export needs. Buttons are large, clips reorder with arrows, and the logo and boxes are dragged or pinched on the picture. iPhones need a Safari version with both video and audio encoding in WebCodecs; the page checks and says so before you start.
