Cut several clips out of one video, keeping the original quality where it can
Processed in your browser. Nothing is uploaded. Updated on 26 Oct 2026.Trimming a video here copies the original frames whenever the shape stays the same, finishing a 10-second clip in under a second with no quality loss. An exact start re-encodes only the first second or two of each clip; 9:16 or a fade re-encodes everything, at roughly 40 seconds per minute of 1080p.
Press Choose a video and pick an MP4, M4V or MOV file. It is read on your device and not uploaded.
Drag the handles on the timeline, or type Start and End times, to mark the part to keep; press Add clip for more parts.
Leave Exact start times off to copy the frames without re-compressing, or switch it on to cut at the exact second.
Press the Cut button, then Download to save the clip; several clips download together as a zip.
Trim Video gives back the parts of a video you want: one clip, or up to twenty, downloaded separately or joined into one video.
The page names which of three paths your choices pick before you press anything.
Keep original quality is a true copy. The compressed frames are lifted out of the original container and written into a new one without being decoded, so the picture and sound are identical to the source rather than merely close to it, and a ten-second clip is ready in well under a second. The price is that a cut can only start where a keyframe already exists. The page measures the keyframe spacing in your file — six seconds apart is common on downloaded video, half a second on a phone recording — and snaps the start handle to real keyframes as you drag it, so the time shown is the time you get.
Reframe decodes every frame and encodes it again. That is required for any change of shape: 16:9 to 9:16 for a Reel, a square for a feed, or padding instead of cropping. Re-encoding is a second generation of compression, so the result is very close to the original and not identical to it. It is never described here as lossless.
Smart cut is what Exact start times does for an H.264 video kept in its own shape, which is nearly every phone and camera file. Only the frames from your start to the next keyframe, usually one to four seconds, are encoded again at twice the original bitrate; everything after is copied untouched, and a ten-second clip is ready in about a second.
Rearranging and fades. Clips play in the order the list shows, and arrows on each row move one up or down. Joined into one video, any seam can take a fade through black, the same length everywhere or different at each join. A fade draws frames that are not in the file, so a faded video is re-encoded, never copied.
Adjust and Export size. Crop, rotate, mirror, change speed (0.25x to 4x, pitch kept), or shrink to 720p or a target size. All re-encode.
Nothing is uploaded. The file is read in slices on your own device, and the page tells you the measured keyframe spacing, the estimated time and the estimated file size before the button does anything.
Leave the shape set to Same as source and leave Exact start switched off. The page then copies the compressed frames straight across, so the clip is identical to the original rather than compressed a second time. Each clip starts at the nearest keyframe at or before the time you chose, and the timeline shows where those fall.
Compressed video can only be cut at a keyframe, because every other frame is stored as a difference from its neighbours. The start handle snaps to the nearest real keyframe, often six seconds apart on a downloaded file. Switch on Exact start to cut precisely: for H.264 in its own shape, only the second or two up to the next keyframe is encoded again and the rest is still copied.
No. Reading, cutting and writing all happen inside this browser tab on your own device, and the page only ever loads the slices of the file it needs. A 10 GB recording never travels anywhere, which is why the tool keeps working when your connection drops after the page has loaded.
Yes, up to twenty ranges from a single source in one run. Choose separate files and they arrive as a zip, or choose joined and they are written end to end into one video. Because every clip shares a codec and a resolution, joining them needs no re-compression on the copy path.
Pick 9:16 tall under shape, then choose Crop to fill the frame or Pad to keep the whole picture with bars beside it. Changing shape means every frame is drawn again and re-encoded, so expect roughly 40 seconds of work per minute of 1080p footage and a result very close to, not identical to, the source.
MP4, M4V and MOV files up to 10 GB and 6 hours, with H.264, H.265, VP9 or AV1 video. Frames over 4096 pixels a side are refused. One export can be up to 512 MB, because the finished file is built in the browser tab; save a longer part as several clips. WebM and AVI are not read yet, and a file the page cannot parse says so instead of producing a broken download.
Yes. Arrows on each row move a clip up or down, and the list order is the order a joined video plays in. Switch on Download all the clips as one video to add a fade through black at every seam, 0.1 to 3 seconds long, or set a different one at each join. A fade re-encodes the joined video rather than copying it.
Video kaise cut kare without installing anything: add the file, drag the two handles over the part you want, and press the button. The clip is produced inside this page on your own phone or laptop, with no watermark and no sign-up. Mark up to twenty parts and take them all in one zip.
